What is Exsigo?
Exsigo is a paid B2B trade-intelligence platform. Companies use it to find the buyers and suppliers behind a product, qualify trade partners with declared volumes and prices, and monitor competitors — using official government customs records rather than directory listings or estimates.
Where does Exsigo's data come from?
From official government customs record systems. When a shipment clears customs it becomes part of the public trade record — the product by HS code, the declared value and volume, the origin and destination, and, where the country publishes them, the importing and exporting company names. Exsigo normalises those records into one searchable model.
Which countries and datasets are covered?
Twelve customs record systems across seven countries: the United States, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Chile, and Colombia — covering both imports and exports depending on what each authority publishes. See the Data & coverage page for the full list and sources.
Can I find the actual company names that import a product?
Yes, wherever the source country publishes importer or exporter names — for example US, Peru, Colombia, and the Canadian importers directory. Some countries (such as Brazil, Chile, and Canadian aggregate trade) publish declared values and volumes by product without naming individual companies; those power market-level research and price benchmarking.
How is Exsigo different from a business directory?
A directory lists companies. Exsigo shows what companies actually import or export: declared volumes, prices, sourcing countries, and trends over time. It's evidence of real, current demand — not a static contact list.
How does pricing work?
There's a free trial, then usage-based plans. One unit equals one company profile or one page of ten shipment records; searching and suggestions while you type are free. See the Plans page for current tiers.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The trial runs for 3 days or 30 units, whichever comes first, with no card required.
Are the figures estimates or real declarations?
Real declarations. Every value and volume is what a company actually declared to a customs authority, converted to US dollars where the source reports in local currency. Nothing is modelled or estimated.
